Amazing Venue, Even Better People!
This review is WAY overdue so hopefully Michelle and her team can forgive me.
Where can I even start to describe how amazing this venue is and how awesome Michelle and her team are? Every aspect of how Michelle chooses to run this venue is catered to ensuring you (the couple) have a wedding that fits your unique vision in as stress-free a way as possible. It apparent, from the first tour to the grand exit, that she truly cares about making each wedding that takes place at Carriage Hills Ranch truly exceptional.
A small selection of how she accomplishes this:
Decorating - Carriage Hills has a massive selection of decorations at your disposal free of charge. This greatly cuts down on cost and time requirements.
Recommendations - Michelle makes finding everything from the florist to your caterer so easy. Her recommendations on who to work with ensure that your day goes off without a hitch.
Bar Service - Using Carriage Hill's In-House bar service is a breeze. It allows you to have full control over what you're spending so you aren't hit with a surprise after your event. There are so many options available and it is definitely cheaper than other bar services.
Michelle Herself - She is simply a joy to work with. From contract questions a year before the wedding to last-minute details 3 hours before the event, she is understanding, gracious, and kind. She is giving with her time and willing to get creative to make whatever you have in mind work (within reason). I can honestly say that our wedding could not have been as amazing as it was without her.
If you made it this far then Carriage Hills is probably high on your list of venues. If you're still struggling with the decision of where to have your wedding, all I can say is choose here. It's not possible to list all of the ways that choosing Carriage Hills makes planning and having an awesome wedding SO much easier. I can not possibly recommend them enough.

We got married a little over a week ago at CHR on 04/06/24 & let me say—This venue was everything I could’ve dreamt of as a bride. It really made my shabby-chic country fairytale come to life. The scenery & atmosphere is unmatched, the staff is SO friendly & welcoming, our guests enjoyed themselves so much… I can go on and on! Many people have come up to us and have told us this is a wedding they will never forget. If I could give 10 starts I would!

Absolutely Perfect!
We held our homeschool Winter Formal in this amazing location this week. We had 150 high schoolers attend. The venue is absolutely beautiful, lots of places for photos. We didn’t have to do much decorating because the room is already so pretty! We loved the elegant rustic feel, and the fantastic lighting. The staff at Carriage Hills was so attentive and wonderful to work with. They anticipated our every need and went above and beyond to serve us. The kids had a great time dancing the night away without a care! A truly beautiful location from the hill country views to the most minor detail inside. I can’t recommend it enough.

Gorgeous Venue
Carriage Hills Ranch is a beautiful venue in the Texas Hill Country. The grounds are lovely, and there are great choices for ceremony and reception locations. The staff is great to work with and responds quickly to messages and questions. Michelle's attention to detail helped our day to run smoothly, and my daughter's outdoor wedding was exactly as we planned it. We didn't need to worry about the weather because the indoor location would have also been great. The venue has an extensive assortment of table decor and decorative items that made our planning easier and more cost effective. We had a great experience with Carriage Hills Ranch, and I highly recommend it for anyone looking for a Hill Country wedding.

My dreams turned into magical reality
I wish I could give this place 10 stars. I fell in love with this place the second I saw it online, and it was even more amazing and gorgeous in person! The fact that all decorations as well as tables/chairs/linens are included in the total price is uniquely refreshing! The staff is super sweet and easy to work with. They explain every step along the way and are always willing to answer any questions. They worked with me to create the magical space I saw in my dreams, from the ceremony location to the table arrangement for the reception. I could not have asked for a better venue to celebrate our love with our friends and family. By the time we left, we felt like the staff was part of our family too!
I have already and will continue to recommend this venue to others in search of their perfect location.

What a wonderful venue. Michelle and the whole team was great to work with. Made us feel like family from day one. Our wedding could not have gone any smoother thanks to all the staff and wonderful vendors we hired. The venue exceeded our expectations and we would highly recommend to anyone considering a rustic Hill Country wedding. They offer so much in comparison to other venues in the area! So beautiful Texas hill side wedding
Carriage Hill Ranch is such a beautiful place. My husband and I fell in love with the venue. Michelle was wonderful and very helpful with every step. She answered all my questions and guided us through everything. We definitely took advantage of the open houses to get ready and have everything for our big day. The day of the wedding everything was ready and set, it went more than smooth. The venue is so beautiful that the pictures easily became my favorite gift. We wouldn't change a thing that day, we are both so happy how relaxed and calm it was for us.

Beautiful homey venue
We loved our wedding venue! Even with the pond gone during the drought, we had horses in the back of our ceremony and it was a nice touch. Everybody commented on how lovely the venue was and we felt at home the entire day and night. Michelle is so helpful and welcoming to all who come to the property, and does her best to help every couple and their families feel welcome and at home while there. The decor inventory is such a nice added bonus because they have linens for every table and decor you can use on the wedding day. We plan to come back and visit some day.

Perfect Place for 50th Anniversary Party
An anniversary party is different from a wedding, but they were very accommodating to all the little and big changes that were required. I can highly recommend them. The venue is beautiful rustic Texas Hill Country at its best.

My daughter recently had her wedding at Carriage Hills Ranch in Blanco, TX on 10-29-22. From the very first tour, we all knew that this was the location. Michelle and her family are wonderful, caring, knowledgeable and were always available throughout the whole process from the planning to the final goodbyes. The venue is so relaxing you never want to leave. LOVED all the decor options. The vast majority of the decor used during the reception was theirs and we also incorporated some of our own personal touches. The Bridal Cabin is darling and the boys enjoyed their 'Grooms Room'. WE had so many compliments from family and guests saying that this was one of the best weddings that they ever attended. It is a bit of a drive out of San Antonio but the drive is beautiful that you hardly notice the distance. 100000000 stars.

Absolutely amazing
We booked Carriage Hills Ranch for our reception (our wedding ceremony was on a family ranch nearby), and we cannot praise Carriage Hills Ranch enough for how amazing, beautiful, and well organized it was. Michelle was so great to work with and very communicative and interactive with all the couples who book Carriage Hills. They have a TON of nice decor/linens/resources you can pick from to use free of charge when you book with them, and they make sure to put all the items you chose out how you like them. The venue was absolutely gorgeous, every inch of it!!!

The perfect place
The Carriage Hills Ranch is such a beautiful and somewhat magical place. My husband and I couldn't think of a more perfect place to have gotten married. This spot is so warm and loving, you'll learn that from all the family history here. That's what we adored first about this place, they take such good care and put a lot of love here. So much was built with their hands, the layout and area are gorgeous as well. Michelle and her mother are such wonderful and caring people, their whole family is just sweet. I really thank them for letting people get married here it's an absolute gem of a venue. Michelle was very on top of things they have a whole vendor list and very helpful tips to look at they have tons of decor and linens. I'm so happy this place was where we got married it'll forever be in my heart.

1000/10 recommend celebrating your special day at Carriage Hills Ranch! We absolutely loved our wedding day thanks to Michelle and the whole family. When she scheduled our first visit of the property, we absolutely fell in love. Not only with the property, but with the family. They are so warm and kind, we knew they would take care of us and our special day! They provide open houses once a month after you’ve booked to go to the property and plan things out. My favorite part was going through the decor room (which you could use for FREE!) and creating our centerpieces. Those open houses really helped with the planning process. I can’t say much about the setting up and tearing down process as my day of coordinator handled most of that, but from the minute I arrived to the minute I left, everything ran so smoothly! There are so many great spots for pictures on the property. My husband and I did our first look and private vows on the little brick bridge. I did my first look with my dad out by the fire place and first look with my mom in the beautiful bridal cabin. My favorite spot on the entire property is the famous street car. We had our cocktail hour there and it just looked so beautiful at Sunset in November! The bartending company that they have a contract with our AMAZING. The family stayed on the property the entire night to help out with any bumps, but there wasn’t many. Again, I would recommend this beautiful venue to anyone, especially if you’re looking for something with an outdoor ceremony and indoor reception in the beautiful hill country. Blanco, TX has now become a special place in our heart. We can’t wait to continue making memories there with our growing family❤️

Couldn’t have asked for a more beautiful venue!
Carriage Hills Ranch is a magical and beautiful venue to have a wedding! It has so many unique touches that many venues do not offer. My husband and I got married under the gazebo by the lake and we have the most amazing memories and pictures from it. It really is breathtaking. The venue has lots of parking for guests and lots of reception space for dancing, mingling, and eating yummy food! We had our reception inside and it was perfect. We loved sitting on the stage with our bridal party and the venue had so many decorations and table cloths for us to use as well which was such a big help when it came to saving money where we could.. You will not find a better venue for such an amazing price. Also the staff are the cherry on top. Michelle and her family are so kind and went above and beyond to help make my wedding perfect. Don’t second guess booking here, get on their schedule while you can!

Carriage Hills was the perfect wedding venue for us! The beautiful Hill Country landscape combined with the rustic atmosphere and facilities were absolutely fantastic! The staff was always supportive and willing to help us make our day perfect, and were so helpful with the on-site décor, helpful set up and day of support, and overall positive attitudes through the entire process! They were the first venue toured, and we found that all the others we visited just lacked the charm and homey atmosphere we felt at Carriage Hills! The only issue we had was that the required bartending service were not the best communicators, but the venue staff were all wonderful!

A family-oriented beautiful wedding venue.
The Carriage Hills Ranch team is filled with incredible people. They listen to your visions and concerns for your wedding and go above and beyond to help you make your ideas a reality. They have an amazing decor closet that can help lower cost, they are always getting new items to be able to incorporate into weddings.
The day of Michelle and her team were amazing! Our friends and family raved about how helpful, welcoming, and loving their family was! We had hoped to have an outdoor ceremony, but when it rained the whole day Michelle helped us make our inside ceremony space special, she even gave us good ideas for photos to stay out of the rain but get beautiful photos!
We hope to be a part of the Carriage Hills family for years to come.

In Love With This Venue
Carriage Hills Ranch is a picture-perfect venue. They are family-owned and operated. They were very transparent. All of their pricing is online and they have a great vendors section. The pricing is completely appropriate for what they offer. No need to go anywhere else for tables, chairs, linens, décor, and more. This venue is a one-stop-shop. We were able to find most of what we needed through their website. Our wedding was beautiful and I would give 10/10 to the entire experience.

Hidden Gem Among Texas Hill Country Wedding Venues. Perfect for an Indian-American Fusion Wedding.
From the very beginning, Carriage Hills Ranch treated us like family. I had researched and visited countless wedding venues in the Texas Hill Country and stumbled upon CHR in a bridal magazine. Carriage Hills had the perfect gazebo space for an outdoor Indian wedding in the hill country. Michelle is the main venue contact, and she is amazing. She always responded promptly to questions and although CHR had never done an Indian Wedding before, Michelle really worked with us to make our vision come true. Not only do they answer your questions, but they have MANY resources available for brides who are planning a wedding and trying to keep costs low. Carriage Hills has NUMEROUS super cute and diverse decor items that we could use -FREE OF COST. The CHR website has a list of vendors it has worked with on its website that is super helpful. The website is so organized, and it has all of the information a bride could need. Michelle also provides all booked couples with a Wedding Planning google doc that has SO MUCH wonderful info and tips and tricks for wedding planning. Michelle was also flexible with rules and guidelines in special circumstances. Not to mention, wedding planning during the year of COVID was stressful, but Michelle was so flexible and amazing she really made it easy.
One thing to be aware of is that CHR requires their couples to use The Pour Horse Co. as their alcohol vendor. Our experience with Pour Horse was less than ideal, but this should not take away from how amazing Carriage Hills is. I would 100% still have my wedding at Carriage Hills Ranch despite the poor bartending service by The Pour Horse.
As it got closer to the wedding, Michelle’s wedding checklist was amazing at keeping me on top of all the details. On the day of, I feel like the Carriage Hills staff was more helpful than my own wedding coordinator. It was a large Indian wedding, 160-170 guests, with a lot of moving parts. Michelle and the CHR team really went above and beyond, setting up and breaking our chairs and tables, helping with decor (although this is not their job), and really just helping wherever we needed help. I absolutely LOVED having my wedding at Carriage Hills. The outdoor grounds are BEAUTIFUL. There are so many giant shady oak trees and cool spots around the grounds that have a lot of history and character. The inside reception hall is magical with its strings of lights on the ceiling and large stage. CHR has a certain rustic Texan charm that was perfect for our Indian-American fusion wedding. The space, the people, the vibes, everything was perfect. I am extremely grateful to Michelle and CHR for all of their help. I feel like Carriage Hills Ranch is a hidden gem among wedding venues. It was perfect for my Big Fat Indian-American Fusion Wedding.

My Lifesavers
Excellent venue and even better staff. Made our day truly special, helped any way they possibly could, opened their facility for me to check my decorations after I missed the open house due to my dad passing. Michelle made me feel right at home and helped me finish all details needed while she patiently waited for my scattered brain self to get it together. Great Experience
Carriage Hills Ranch was really the perfect venue for my husband and me. The location was great, just down the road from our house, and in a quiet location. Of all weekends, our wedding was on Feb 13, 2021, the weekend the snow and ice storm decided to happen. Michelle, the venue manager, and her family were there every step of the way, from helping set up the day of to keeping me calm (between wedding jitters and terrible weather). Also, because of the weather, my hairstylist was not able to make it due to the weather. Michelle immediately started calling people she knew, trying to help. We ended up moving our ceremony inside, which still looked beautiful.
The price for the venue was also great. It included access to the venue, choice of 3 different ceremony locations, a room full of decorations we could use, and so much more. Beautiful location.
We were able to communicate through both email and text. Their responsiveness to any questions I had was very quick. Michelle was involved from the very start.
I would definitely recommend this venue for your big day.

The best venue
CHR was our dream venue. The venue is so well priced and has a décor CLOSET! I barely spent any money on décor items. CHR is family-owned and operated and they were so sweet and helpful! The venue itself was beautiful! We really did not have to decorate for the ceremony because the venue was so naturally pretty. Michelle does a great job of staying in contact with you and answering any questions. I was over the moon with the beauty, helpfulness, kindness, and price of CHR. Another plus to this venue is that you don't feel like it is just a money thing for the family owners. They really care and want you to have the wedding of your dreams.

Wedding During Covid
We had our wedding on Oct. 10, 2020, and it was absolutely beautiful at this location. We couldn't have been happier with our choice. With all the covid stuff going on during the planning phase it was pretty difficult but working with Michelle made it so much easier. So easy and quick to communicate with Michelle throughout the entire process. Her husband was so helpful the day of the wedding & really made you feel comfortable and like family. Everything went absolutely perfect! Loved that this venue had so many perks already there. We didn't do much extra for decorations because I loved the way it was already. Love that they have a room full of decor and supplies to borrow/use for your event. Saved so much money on that stuff too. This venue is the Ultimate package deal! If I had to do it again, I would still pick Carriage Hills Ranch!

The BEST Hill Country Venue!
I cannot say enough good things about Carriage Hills Ranch!! From the moment I stepped on the property, I was in love. I literally said this is the one. It had everything I was looking for! A chic rustic but vintage feel, a venue that didn’t need to be decorated because it was naturally beautiful the way it was.
Michelle and the staff were incredible like they took care of every request we had and were so responsive! We actually had to move our wedding back 6 months and CHR was so great about it. So understanding and compassionate and really made us feel like moving our event was not gonna be an issue and worked with us through it all.
We highly highly recommend CHR and I know that future couples that have their wedding here will have their dream wedding like we did!

Absolute Miracle Workers!
Our experience with Carriage Hills Ranch was an absolute dream from the very start! Within the first few minutes of meeting the lovely Ms.Christine and learning of the family-owned heritage surrounding CHR, we were absolutely sold.
The amount of compassion and flexibility shown by the amazing CHR family during the COVID-19 pandemic was absolutely unparalleled. While we were expecting to have to cancel our entire ceremony due to the uncertainty surrounding finances and other factors, CHR was able to work with us in a way that allowed us to have both our originally planned ceremony AND even a mini-reception! If you are considering multiple venues, stop here. The family is amazing, the venue is BEYOND beautiful, and the prices absolutely cannot be beat. We will continue to recommend Carriage Hills Ranch for years to come.

Kind, honest, accommodating owners and a beautiful venue!
We began our wedding venue hunt, searching all over the hill country. Carriage Hills Ranch is one of the most affordable and beautiful options out there! They have a beautiful little stock tank that can be seen from the ceremony site, a fireplace outside and a beautiful train car for photos/ use, a HUGE decoration room with plenty of amazing decor (seriously borrowed more than half our decor from here), and an absolutely accommodating staff! Michelle was always quick to reply to my emails and addressed every question I had. They were so attentive to our needs and wants concerning the venue and decor. Christine was also so sweet and knowledgeable about the history of the ranch and always had the doors open for us when we called. I loved my wedding here so much! All our guests raved about how beautiful everything was and how excited they were to know about this venue. I cannot recommend this venue enough. Thank you guys for such an amazing day to remember!

We love that the venue is a family business and they are all so accommodating and nice. Planning a wedding is stressful, and their flexibility really helped to reduce some anxiety. The venue itself is absolutely beautiful and perfect if you want the indoor/outdoor experience. We had such an amazing wedding and would recommend them to everyone!

Carriage Hills Ranch is Great!
Michelle and everyone else at the Carriage Hills Ranch was great! They have plenty of extra tables and chairs and the outdoor wedding ceremony area is beautiful! The bridal cabin and groomsmen's quarters are perfect! They even offer a veteran's discount, which saves you a bunch considering how expensive wedding venues are!

Texas Hill Country Gem
When I began planning my wedding I knew I wanted to find a Hill Country location. I was overwhelmed with the amount of venues to choose from! Here’s how we settled on CHR.
From the first moment we reached out, Michelle & Christine were very friendly and accommodating. During the entire process, we were treated as if we were their only clients. They were prompt to answer phone calls and emails. They honestly treat you like family.
The pros:
-Beautiful reception area requiring very little decorating extras on your part
-Gorgeous outside ceremony area with a gazebo in front of the water
-Beautiful grounds for photos
-Fun brides cabin for the ladies to get ready and backroom for the gentlemen to get ready
-Secluded area, wedding crashers aren’t an issue!
-Storage room with TONS of decorations you can utilize
-Real working farm, our guests LOVED seeing the animals, tractors, and hay on the grounds
-Preferred vendor list was so helpful in selecting some of our vendors, we liked that we were able to choose our vendors rather than being told who we had to use
-The price was right and they offered a military discount
The cons:
-The majority of our guests came from out of state and there is only one major hotel in Blanco. We had issues with the hotel securing a block of rooms for our guests. This isn’t CHR’s issue at all, but just a fair warning for out of towners. There are a handful of other locations for your guests to stay as well
-CHR only allows you to contract with one company for bartending services, and we didn’t love our experience with that company
CHR was the perfect location for us, our guests could not stop talking about how much they loved it! We hope to be able to attend another event there in the future!

Love this place!
My husband is from Blanco, and always wanted to get married down there. We found Carriage Hills and absolutely loved the gazebo, the fireplace, the beautiful green landscaping, and knew this was the place we wanted to get married. My parents were a little surprised since, at first glance, Carriage Hills looked a little more rustic than my style is, but I knew that we would be able to really make it our own.
The week of our wedding, it rained and rained and we started stressing out that we would have to move it inside and it wouldn't look the same. It looked like it would kinda clear up, but we made a last-minute decision to keep it indoors (so no one would get soaked), and it was more beautiful than we could have imagined. I can't tell you how many of our guests commented that 1- they never knew it was back here and loved the fact it's more secluded and 2- even indoors, it was absolutely beautiful.
One thing that really helped, as they have a HUGE backroom of decorations, tablecloths, anything you can imagine for your wedding, so that helped us out when we realized we needed a basket or something random.
Michelle and the staff are amazing- any question big or small, stupid or not was quickly answered and they made me feel like I wasn't crazy for asking. They're so welcoming and made my out of state (and out of the country) family feel like they belonged and that made me feel a million times better too.

Along with all of our friends and family, we still can't stop talking about how amazing the venue is. There aren't enough words to express our gratitude and awe at what Christine and Michelle put together. And we feel so grateful and honored that we were able to have our wedding at their beautiful location. We had researched online almost 30 other venues before we found CHR and visited a handful. And the moment we arrived at CHR we knew we wanted our wedding at that space. We were especially surprised when we arrived because their online photos really do not do them justice. Along the way, we learned the space was not the only magical part of the venue. Although it does have everything you could ever need in terms of decorations all setup. Working with Christine and Michelle made us feel like we joined the family and we were hosting our wedding on our family's property. Every time we met Christine, it always began and ended with a hug. And she was immensely helpful and generous in lending us stuff to use as table centerpieces and signage and various small decorations from her wonderful, HUGE closet of wedding accessories. Their communication was also amazing. We unexpectedly learned that a bartending vendor they had created an exclusive agreement with was souring and turning into a horrible service provider. While we hope CHR will cut ties with that bartending service, Michelle took our concerns incredibly seriously and spoke with the vendor to try to minimize the damage. There is no question in our minds that they are 100% committed to those who rent their space and in trying to ensure the people experience one of the most special days of their lives there. For us, it worked. We already are jokingly brainstorming about what other events we can have in order to revisit the beautiful space they have created that we love so much. In closing, we expect to remember them for the rest of our lives when we reminisce on our wedding day. Simply put... wonderful!!

We had the best experience working with Carriage Hills Ranch before the wedding and having our wedding at their ranch. The venue is beautiful and the owners and staff were friendly and helpful. They did everything they could to make our day special.

My husband and I absolutely LOVED this venue! And our families thought it to be extremely romantic in the rustic hill country setting! The staff was great and the ranch was so cute we didn’t even need any extra decorating! Highly recommend Carriage Hills Ranch! I hope someone else gets married here I know so we can visit back! And the horses in the background for our pictures were great!

I cannot say enough good things about Carriage Hills Ranch. They were so incredibly easy to work with. They treated us like VIPs and family all at the same time. This venue also has a room full of decorations for brides to use that is included in the AMAZING price. They have 3 different places that could be used as a ceremony site. my wedding had to be moved indoors, and it was still beautiful and just as amazing as I dreamed it would be. Michelle and Christine are some of the nicest, professional people I’ve ever worked with. I will most certainly find any excuse I can to work with them again in the future.

Carriage Hills Ranch is adorably quaint. Perfect for an old fashion country wedding. The owner and her management team are professional and flexible. They will make the effort to go above and beyond for you. The venue was made available to us multiple times throughout the past year. Their package includes many services that are beneficial. The venue has decorations on hand for your use, which makes things so much easier for you. Our only concern with the venue was that it has no stoves for caterers to cook in, nor are caterers allowed to bring their own stovetops (truck or otherwise). There is a prep kitchen available for caterers use. We did need to adjust our dinner selections. We also decided to make an extra expense of renting chairs instead of using the regular white folding chairs that are included by the venue. Our wedding came and went quickly but we will always appreciate and cherish Carriage Hills Ranch staff for the memories their staff helped create.

I cannot say enough good things about this venue, and the people responsible for it. Michelle who coordinates scheduling, and just about everything, was incredibly responsive. Anytime no matter weekday or weekend she was available to answer questions, help with vendors, or just about anything I could ask for. The venue itself is perfect! There is a great gazebo sitting at the edge of a pond that can be decorated any way you like. We had an evening wedding, around 6:30, and had plenty of shade where guests were sitting. There is also an incredible walk down to the aisle that can be used for all kinds of entrances for the procession. The reception hall was great as well! At night it is beautiful inside as they have strung lights all throughout the ceiling. I was impressed at how elegant they could make a rustic venue look. Grooms had their own room, and the bride had a cottage to herself. If you are looking for a Texas Hill Country wedding, this would be tough to beat. We had Longhorns and Horses watching us start our marriage. On that note, the owner’s brother who lives right up the road owns the biggest buggy(wagon) barn. You can commission him for a carriage ride down to the altar, which is what my bride did. It was a HUGE crowd pleaser and made for great photo ops. You could hear the crowd react as she started down the road towards the aisle. The reception hall is not far away from the ceremony so people walked up right after and were able to grab a drink and appetizer while the wedding party took pictures. Speaking of the reception hall, your vendors will love you, it is set up well! We fell in love with this venue not just because of its beauty, but because of the people. Christine who helped us feels like family now. We initially chose the venue because of her incredible kindness and personality. She makes you feel like you're home. Absolutely no stress during the entire event and I think in large part it was due to the incredible people helping us at the venue.

If you are having a hard time to decide the place, this place is the one for your wedding!!.
The owner and her daughter were so sweet and they were so cooperative with us and always there for us.
We enjoyed coordinating our wedding with them.
We were so glad that we found Carriage Hills Ranch.
Once you go there and get to know the owner, you would understand why I decided to have the wedding there and you would know what I'm talking about. (^o^)

Michelle and Christine at Carriage Hills Ranch have the perfect venue for a beautiful country wedding. The over the top customer service they both give while planning the wedding makes for an easy no-stress experience. While hosting the day of the wedding makes the event roll smoothly letting the bride as the groom enjoy the day with their family and friends.
Best decision I made was choosing Carriage Hills Ranch as the place I married my best friend.

I cannot put into words how amazing this place was. I recently got married there this month. When my husband and I saw this venue we immediately fell in love with it. It had everything we were looking for, from the rustic look on the inside to the elegant look at the gazebo area. The gazebo was just beautiful overlooking the water and all of the lights they have at night. Even my guest loved the view and scenery and took pictures throughout the property. All of the decor they had inside and out went well with our wedding theme resulting in little decorating needed. Also, Christine and Michelle were amazing from the start. Of course, as a bride, I was a scattered brain and has a million and one questions. Every text and email I sent I received an immediate response. They were so flexible with me and helped cater to my every need. I wanted to make sure everything was as perfect as could be and with their help it was possible.

Christine and her daughter Michelle were incredibly helpful and supportive. The venue was lovely with great rustic charm. I especially enjoyed the outdoor setting for our vows, with the water and horses in the background. They also added thoughtful touches to the venue in theme with our wedding colors. I just wanted to take the time and write this review for Carriage Hills Ranch in Blanco, Texas, because my son, Jeremiah, and his bride, Holly just had an enchanting wedding there last weekend. This venue is nestled in the small historic town of Blanco, Texas, with Dripping Springs, Johnson City, and Fredericksburg as the neighboring towns. It is not only is a beautiful venue offering all of the hill country charm but the owner, Chris Bushong, and her two daughters, Sara and Michelle where there from the beginning of planning until the last dance to make sure everything went the way we envisioned their special day to be. This venue offers the natural beauty of the hill country including a lake that is so beautiful behind the gazebo made out of limestone rock and ironwork. Absolutely stunning! To make it even different from most weddings, my son had a horse-drawn carriage from “Gone With The Wind” rented from the Buggy Barn Museum in Blanco to bring his bride and her father to the ceremony, and then Jeremiah and Holly rode off in it after the ceremony. The reception was held in the rustic hall that will seat 200 guests with everything we needed to serve our guests, dance, and just relax! It definitely had the authentic hill country feeling. There were many features to take stunning photos throughout the night and as the sunset came upon us, it was breathtaking! I would highly recommend this venue for your wedding or event. You will not be disappointed! The venue staff will make sure you have covered every detail that you may not have thought of with sincerity and compassion. Getting married can be very stressful but not only are you renting a venue at Carriage Hills Ranch you are paying for owners that really do care about your special day! If you book with them, your guest will come! We had so many of our guests state over and over how beautiful this venue was and it was worth the drive. It is only a short drive outside of Austin and you will make your special day.

At first, when my husband-to-be and I started planning our wedding, we were planning on having the ceremony and the reception at home. Once we started working on the guestlist we realized we were going to need A LOT more space! Through the grapevine, I heard that a beautiful venue in Blanco, Texas was having an open house. So I wrote the date down and hopped in the car with my mother-in-law to be and a girlfriend. We had such a great time!!! There were a ton of vendors there, but Carriage Hills Ranch was the only one we chose to go with. We were lucky that our chosen wedding date was available. Carriage Hills Ranch suited our needs for the kind of wedding we wanted to have… a little country and a little glamorous. Compared to most of the venues in Austin, Carriage Hills Ranch was the most accommodating as far as our budget went, as well as the space we needed, and not to mention the amount of time the venue was available to us.
Carriage Hills Ranch boasts natural water features, such as an enormous wet-weather lake with a gorgeous gazebo overlooking the lake, ideal for an outdoor ceremony. The grounds were immaculately manicured. The weather was perfect that day, however, if it had not been the reception hall was large enough to seat our enormous guest list. The reception hall is actually the family’s old barn but has been revamped into a magical ballroom with tiny white lights adorning the ceiling and the columns. They had just stained the floors and they shined a beautiful burnt orange under the tiny white lights. The kitchen accommodated our caterer’s needs, as well as the bartenders. The restrooms were very clean.
For fear of my review sounding like a shopping list, every person’s need at our wedding was met and then some. They even provided tables, chairs, and beige table cloths. That alone can be a very huge extra expense. Chris thought of everything in advance for every bride who decides to celebrate their day at her wonderful venue.

My son and his wife were married at Carriage Hills Ranch in Blanco, TX. It was the most beautiful setting for an outdoor wedding, which is what they wanted! The stone gazebo where the ceremony took place was gorgeous with the lake and the rolling hills in the background! The staff was amazing, kind, and helpful with all our requests. The horse-drawn carriage that the bride rode in was one of the most memorable moments of the day!

Michelle and Christine are joyous people of faith that money can't buy. They work hard to maintain the magic of this place. My wife is a production designer so it was even more magical after her design and theme. The venue alone as is simply stunning. If you are looking for solid, thorough, trustworthy, consistent people to give your money to and receive a place of serenity for your wedding under the eyes of the great lord, then this is the place.
The dance floor is hot for two-stepping also!! Lol!

We chose this venue for my daughter's wedding because it was exactly the look she wanted for her wedding. She wanted a barn-type, rustic setting but it needed to be air-conditioned so this was perfect! The drive from San Antonio was reasonable but there are also local hotels in Blanco your guests can stay at. The package we bought included all the tables, chairs and linens which was such a huge help to us. We even had access to the venue Friday for decorating or a rehearsal. The owners are wonderful sweet people who are a pleasure to work with. Our onsite person was Cornelia and she couldn't have been any more wonderful to work with than she was. She was such a positive, encouraging lady for my daughter even dealing with all the stresses involved in a wedding. She was there for us at the rehearsal to make sure everything flowed well and to be the go-to person for food vendors, etc.
I would definitely suggest you consider this venue for your wedding.

The beautiful hill country venue was breathtaking. Christine and Frank were wonderful to work with and went out of their way to make sure that everything was perfect for our event. Their venue is very unique. Truly one of a kind! The sunset on the lake behind the gazebo was so gorgeous! The options and choices you have for your event are wonderful.
